I was a Principal Concept Artist at Mediatonic for 4+ years working on Fall Guys from its early development stage well into live-ops.  During these incredible years, I designed many levels, season style guides, props and more.

Fall Guys

In 2022, Mediatonic, having been bought by Epic Games, released Fall Guys 'Free for All,' which we debuted with an  announcement video
For this, basic 3D models were provided to me, which I painted over roughly (rendering quality was not a priority) as there was about 3 days to get this done with no room for iteration before it was to be handed back to the 3D team to model. Below are my concepts.

Similarly, in 2020, when Fall Guys introduced Shows, I created the thumbnail illustrations (with more time to polish the art!) The process involved a sketch from me that I sent to the 3D team, who in turn sent a rough 3D model of the sketch, which I polished for use in-game. This process was the most time-efficient way to produce these assets, as to paint all of the required images without a 3D base would have added weeks to the timeline.

the Fall Guys language

Foolish Title Graphic.png

I had the opportunity to create a constructed language on Fall Guys. This language, 'Foolish'  has grammar, four alphabets and can be spoken. The trickiest bit was compiling it all into a teachable format. Many assumed that with the font file installed, one could type in English and it would come out in Foolish. Below is the guide I created to breakdown the grammar and purpose of the four fonts that make up the language.
