Concept art is not a neat process throughout... and it shouldn't be. Much of the work involves rough sketches and painting over screenshots before you can think about making it sparkle. Sometimes just the scribbles are enough.
Process work

I was asked to paint images for a game mode selector in Fall Guys. These needed to be highly polished as they were to be player-facing and in game. I chose to begin with rough sketches for our 3D artist; just enough information for them to pose the characters, scene and take a screenshot.
It was more time efficient to work over a screenshot than without a model underlay.

Fall Guys F2P Promo video
Because of my background in theme park design, I was asked to assist in designing the set for the Free 2 Play promotional video that an outsourced team had been handling. Above is a reel featuring my paintover concepts, followed by photographs/final renders of the set. The set was a mix of 3D projections, greenscreen and physical pieces.
